Our Bulk Crude Corn Oil is supplied to meet the raw material requirements of oil refineries, industrial processors, wholesale distributors, and international commodity traders. It provides a practical base for the production of refined corn oil and corn-oil-based blends, subject to appropriate processing and regulatory compliance.
Unlike refined corn oil, crude corn oil has not undergone a complete refining process. It retains characteristic corn germ notes, a golden yellow to amber color, and naturally occurring components such as phospholipids, free fatty acids, pigments, waxes, and other unsaponifiable materials. Its appearance and composition may vary depending on corn variety, germ quality, extraction method, storage conditions, and whether preliminary degumming has been performed.
Corn oil is naturally characterized by a high proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids, primarily Omega-6 (linoleic acid), together with monounsaturated fatty acids and naturally occurring vitamin E. The final fatty acid profile may vary according to the corn variety, germ quality, extraction process, and production conditions.
Depending on incoming oil quality and the intended finished product, further processing may include degumming, neutralization or physical deacidification, bleaching, winterization or dewaxing, and deodorization. After appropriate refining and verification against applicable food standards, suitable corn oil can be used in cooking oils, frying formulations, margarines, shortenings, mayonnaise, dressings, blended oils, and other food products.
To accommodate different shipment volumes and destination requirements, bulk supply can be arranged through four transportation options:
- Bulk Vessel Shipment: Direct loading into suitable liquid-bulk tanker vessels for large-volume international maritime shipments.
- Bulk Rail Wagon Transport: Land-based transportation using suitable food-grade tank wagons for regional and cross-border distribution.
- Flexitank (Containerized): A food-grade flexitank installed inside a standard 20ft container for containerized liquid transport, subject to carrier approval and payload limits.
- IBC Containers (1,000L): Intermediate bulk containers suitable for smaller industrial deliveries, blending facilities, and destinations without large bulk discharge infrastructure.
Quality assessment focuses on parameters relevant to refinery performance and intended use, including free fatty acids, moisture, insoluble impurities, peroxide value, phosphorus, wax content, color, and other quality indicators. Agreed specifications and a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) provide the basis for shipment acceptance.
Our bulk crude corn oil offers a flexible raw material solution for industrial refining and international vegetable oil supply chains.
